Boyd Chevrolet-Honda of South Hill Va. and Boyd Chevrolet-Buick-GMC Truck of Emporia Va. are proud to announce a rescue and relief program that will provide aid and needed supplies to the animals and birds that have been affected by the Gulf Oil Spill.

Boyd Chevrolet-Honda of South Hill and Boyd Chevrolet-Buick-GMC of Emporia will be collecting items to be sent to the Florida, Alabama and Louisiana Gulf Coast to help the birds, animals and wildlife that have been affected by the Gulf Oil Spill. Boyd Automobile Dealerships of Southern Virginia has partnered with several non-profit organizations along the Gulf Coast who are in desperate need of these items.

Each and everyday thousands of birds and wildlife die as a result of being cover or contaminated with oil. Supplies for cleaning these animals and caring for them thru out the rehabilitation process are very limited and will continue to be simply because there are so many animals that need attention.

This is our opportunity to help those creatures who have been impacted but this awful disaster. Please join me and the cause as we "Speak for those without a voice." The need is critical and urgent. Please give all that you can. Time is of the essence!

Toilet Tissue

Cotton Balls

Large Black Trash Bags

Latex Gloves

Cherrio's and other oat bran non-flavored cereals

Bird Seed

Puppy Chow

Aluminum Foil (for containment of oil contaminated products)

Distilled Water

Hydrogen Peroxide
